Beth Chamberlin
Women's Strength & Wellness Educator ,Emmy-Nominated Actress, Applied Compassion Facilitator (Healthcare Burnout Consultant), Founder Nyack Boot Camp & Act In Service

Beth is a women's strength and wellness educator, Emmy-nominated actress, and founder of Nyack Boot Camp, where she has spent over 13 years helping midlife women reclaim their physical power and visibility. As a certified strength and kettlebell coach specializing in women over 40, she created the Commander's Circle newsletter, reaching thousands of women with evidence-based guidance on fitness, nutrition, and medical self-advocacy. In workshops she combines her acting background with her certification in Applied Compassion Training to create  "Play with Purpose"—teaching individuals to cultivate presence, self-awareness, and compassion in every interaction. Through her company Act In Service, she brings these principles to healthcare facilities to increase the satisfaction of healthcare workers and the patients they serve.   In her own words: "I created ROAR: A Retreat for Women Who Refuse to Fade because too many brilliant, capable women are being dismissed, overlooked, and told their best years are behind them. I believe midlife is not a decline—it's an awakening. My work is dedicated to helping women build the physical strength, mental clarity, and fierce self-advocacy they need to make their second act the most powerful chapter of their lives.

Dr. Peter Roy
Doctor of Chiropractic | Women's Wellness & Sports Nutrition Specialist, Co-Developer, 5/2 Lifestyle Plan for Women Over 45, Certified Kettlebell Training Specialist | Co-Owner, Nyack Boot Camp

Dr. Peter Roy has been a practicing chiropractor for over 35 years, combining clinical expertise with certifications in fitness training, kettlebell instruction, and sports nutrition. As co-owner of Nyack Boot Camp, he has dedicated his career to helping midlife women build sustainable strength and vitality. He co-developed the 5/2 Lifestyle Plan—an integrated approach to nutrition, supplementation, and strength training designed specifically for women over 45. His work bridges the gap between clinical care and practical wellness strategies, ensuring women understand not just what to do, but why it works and how to advocate for themselves in medical settings. In his own words: "After 35 years of practice, I've seen too many women told that pain, weakness, and decline are 'just part of aging.' That's not true. With the right nutrition, proper supplementation, and intelligent strength training, women can build vitality that lasts. My role at ROAR is to give women the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their health—to understand their changing bodies, ask the right questions of their doctors, and create a sustainable plan they can follow for life. Every woman deserves to age with strength, not struggle.
