
David Champion is the CEO and co-founder of Maya Health, a digital-health platform aimed at supporting practitioners in mental health, therapy, and integrative care. Before founding Maya, he co-founded and served as Chief Product Officer of Baker Technologies, a software company for dispensaries — which achieved a valuation of around US$250 million under his leadership. His background is diverse: he studied Architecture at University of Cambridge (graduating summa cum laude), and began his early career working with the architecture firm Studio Daniel Libeskind on the master-plan for Ground Zero in New York.
Raised across Papua New Guinea, Portugal, and Scotland, David brings a global and multidisciplinary perspective to his work — combining technology, behavioral data, design, and human-centered care. In his personal life, he enjoys painting, music (piano), outdoor sports such as snowboarding and sailing, and mindfulness practices, reflecting a creative and holistic lifestyle.
