ATTENTION! THIS IS A BINDING LEGAL AGREEMENT (this “Agreement”). PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT BEFORE USING THIS SITE.

By using the www.Imiloainstitute.com website, making a booking, purchasing or registering for a retreat event, training or gathering, or as a master, teacher or facilitator, I agree to having read and understand the following:

  1. I have read the full terms and conditions during the purchase of my event ticket.
  2. Imiloa Institute is an alcohol-free campus. The campus is plant based vegan cuisine. Noise policy unless otherwise approved is quiet hours from 10 PM to 6AM.
  3. I understand I am participating in a Retreat/event/training offered at Imiloa. I understand that all questions about the event, the nature of the event, payment procedures, travel information to and from Costa Rica and any other matters arising must be directed to welcomehome@imiloainstitute.com.
  4. I grant Imiloa Institute Institute permission to call, email, or text me using the contact details I provided.
  5. I understand I must have medical and travel insurance and by accepting Terms and Conditions I am affirmatively stating I have necessary coverage. I understand I will be swimming, taking jungle walks and will be in the jungle. I recognize that these activities require physical exertion that may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
  6. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in the Retreat and any overseas travel precautions.
  7. I represent and warrant that I am physically fit and I have no medical conditions (including mental health) that would prevent my full participation.
  8. I understand that if I am pregnant, I will take the necessary steps to ensure my doctor and health care providers know I am participating in this Retreat. I assert that I am of fit health to participate in the Retreat and will alert all teachers whose sessions I participate in that I am pregnant.
  9. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Retreat, I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the retreat, including any travel and any or all activities done at the Retreat, or as an individual at the accommodation and facilities provided at the Imiloa Institute in Costa Rica.
  10. I, the traveler, declare and state that it is my personal decision to travel, and I am doing so with full knowledge of current travel recommendations and travel restrictions with regards to the risks of COVID-19.
    1. Ultimately it is my responsibility to understand and abide by all requirements and restrictions when traveling. This may include the following: compulsory health and travel insurance, health affidavit forms; health screenings prior to departure and/or upon arrival; temperature screenings prior to departure and/or upon arrival; travel reason affidavit forms; online travel authorizations; airline safety and health requirements, such as health forms, screenings; in-country requirements, such as periodic temperature checks, compulsory use of face coverings, mouth coverings, face shields, obligatory hand-washing, footwear disinfection, sanitation of hands, quarantine, physical distancing, visas. Failure to meet the requirements and/or restrictions puts me, the traveler, at risk for fines, quarantine or deportation at my expense.

  4. For destination information specific to COVID-19, we recommend visiting IATA’s COVID-tracking site:

  1.  In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the Retreat, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Imiloa, any and all Retreat Hosts, facilitators and/or LLC, and staff for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the retreat. I, my heirs and legal representatives forever release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Imiloa CR LTD LLC or The Imiloa Institute LLC for any injury or death caused by their negligence or other acts. I have read the above release and waiver of liability and fully understand its contents.
  2. I give permission to Imiloa CR LTD LLC and The Imiloa Institute LLC and or parties designated by Imiloa CR LTD LLC and The Imiloa Institute including any and all Retreat Hosts, facilitators and/or LLC to photograph and video me and use such photograph(s) and video(s) in all forms of media, in perpetuity, worldwide. I consent to the use of my name in connection with the photograph(s) and video(s). I understand that I will not receive any payment for my time or expenses or any royalty for the publication of photograph(s) or video(s) or the use of my name and I hereby release Imiloa CR LTD LLC and The Imiloa Institute LLC and/or any parties including any contractors designated by the Company from any such claims. I certify that I have read and fully understand this consent and release and that all questions pertaining to this consent have been answered to my satisfaction.
    1. I further understand that I may make a written request to Provider and to Imiloa Institute Operations to be omitted from photography or videography during the event. I understand that a written request must be received and acknowledged in writing no later than 14 days before the start date of the event.
  3. I understand that the Refund Policy is strictly between Provider (Retreat Host) and me and that I must discuss policy with them. Imiloa CR LTD LLC and The Imiloa Institute LLC are not responsible for providing any refunds to individuals that register on this platform at any time. If a refund becomes necessary for any reason, it shall be the responsibility of the Provider and Participant. I acknowledge that I have read and understand this and have reached out to the Provider with any questions or concerns I may have.
  4. I acknowledge that all payments made to Imiloa are non-refundable and I understand insurance is strongly recommended in order to protect my investment.
  5. I have reviewed www.globalrescue.com/imiloa and have emailed memberservices@globalrescue.com for any questions about Imiloa's recommended travel, medical and “Cancel for Any Reason” insurance provider. I understand this insurance must be purchased within 20 days of purchasing travel. If I choose not to purchase travel insurance from Global Rescue I will purchase a comparable cancel for any reason insurance policy of my choice to protect my investment. 
  6. I understand that chargebacks are not an acceptable way to cancel my ticket and will be contested. I also understand that a default of payment on my purchase is not an acceptable form of cancellation.

You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
